The Taylor women’s golf program has signed Brittany Pfaff to a scholarship agreement, Taylor coach Cameron Andry announced this week.
A product of Wheaton North High School in Wheaton, Ill., Pfaff played the number one position for the Falcons her junior and senior seasons, earning all-conference honors each of her last two seasons.
Pfaff finished fourth in the regional during her junior year, helping Wheaton North advance to sectionals as a team. She has competed extensively on the Illinois Junior Golf Association summer circuit, posting four top-10 finishes and never finishing lower than 11th in seven events in 2012.
Pfaff posted a 4th place finish, out of 72 competitors, firing an 83 in the Joliet invitational this fall and posted a scoring average of 44.6 for nine-hole matches during her senior campaign.
“Brittany is a great addition to our team,” Andry said. “She is a competitor and loves the game and she works very hard to improve. I think she will make an immediate impact for us and she will play a vital role as we continue to build the Taylor women's golf program.”
The daughter of Randy and Becky Pfaff, Brittany earned academic all-conference honors in each season she during which she has been eligible and served on the Wheaton North Athletic Leadership Council while serving as a team captain. Pfaff’s father, Randy, was a four year letter winner in football for the Trojans from 1983-86.
