SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Taylor women's golf team finished seventh at the Pilot Invitational hosted by Bethel at Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend.

Freshman Libby Hansen finished in a tie for 26th with a two-day total of 184 (90-94) after posting a 94 in Saturday's final round while classmate Brittany Pfaff finished one stroke back from Hansen after following her first round 94 with a 91 on Saturday. Sophomore Elaina Mellott carded matching 95's in the first and second rounds and junior Marisa Williamson rounded out the Taylor scoring with a 109 in round two.

The Trojans posted a team score of 389, seven shots off the pace TU set in Friday's first round. The Trojans' two-day total of 771 earned TU a seventh place finish in the 8-team field just four shots behind Saint Xavier.

The Trojans are back in action again on Friday and Saturday as Taylor hosts its spring invitational at Meshingomesia Country Club.
