Crossroads League Volleyball Players of the Week

HARTFORD CITY, Ind. -
Taylor volleyball's Julia Willey has been named the Crossroads League Setter of the Week, the league office announced today.

A junior for the Trojans, Willey orchestrated the TU offense by dishing out 173 assists while helping the Trojans to a 4-1 mark in the first weekend of the season. Willey averaged 9.11 assists per set and added 22 kills and four service aces as TU raced out to its best start since the 2011 season.

An honorable-mention All-Crossroads League performer last season, this marks the first player of the week honor of Willey's career.

The Trojans return to action on Friday when Taylor begins play at the Embry-Riddle Tournament in Daytona Beach against Northwestern Ohio.
