NAIA Top-25 Poll
KANSAS CITY – Following another strong team showing in winning the Indiana Intercollegiates Little State Championship, the Taylor University women's cross country team climbed back up to its preseason ranking of No. 7 in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll.

The Trojans earned 471 points in the poll to rank seventh and settled inside the top-10 for the eighth-consecutive poll.

Taylor has posted convincing team wins in both of its races to open the 2014 season, racking up a win-loss record of 27-0 in those two outings. The Trojans have been led by two-time Crossroads League Runner of the Week, Alex Berends, and Elaine Schmeltz, who have finished first and second in each event.

TU will not return to competitive action again until racing at the NAIA Preview in Lawrence Kansas on October 11.
