Grand Rapids, Mich. – In its final regular season match before the beginning of the Crossroads League tournament, Taylor women's tennis dominated Cornerstone 9-0.

The Trojans prevailed in two three-set matches in singles after the team match had already been decided. Kelsey Chow at No. 2 defeated Janie Silvers in the ten-point tiebreaker, and Betsy Jones came away with a win at No. 4 after regrouping from dropping the second set.

Katherine Marquez cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win at the top spot, improving to 8-6 on the year in singles play. Rachel Kammer won in straight sets at No. 3 singles, and MacKenzie Bedor dropped just one game at No. 5 singles.

Marquez and Chow won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles, while Jones and Kammer earned an 8-5 result at No. 2 doubles.

Taylor (6-6, 5-3 CL) will next return home for its Crossroads League Tournament quarterfinal match. The No. 4 seeded Trojans will face the No. 5 seed Grace on Tuesday, at home, in a match scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm.
