FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Taylor women's golf team recorded a sixth place finish at the USF Cougar Invitational on Saturday at Cherry Hill Golf Course in Fort Wayne.

Freshmen Grace Elenbaas and Courtney Feagans led the Trojans on day two of the tournament as Elenbaas fired a score of 88 and Feagans added a career-best score of 89. Sophomore Brittany Pfaff, who entered the final round in a tie for second place after an opening-round 81, carded a 90 to finish in a tie for 12th place.  

Sophomore Libby Hansen added a 97 as the Trojans recorded a second round total of 364. Senior Marisa Williamson added a 101 as Taylor's drop score and senior Lauren Anderson carded a 106 playing as an individual for the Trojans.

Taylor finished with a two-day total of 718 to maintain its position from the first round on the leaderboard and finish sixth in the 11-team field. Bethel claimed the title with a total of 674 while Olivet Nazarene and Saint Francis tied for second at 686, Northwestern Ohio finished fourth (705) and Holy Cross rounded out the top five with a total of 711.

The Trojans will wrap up their fall schedule at the MVNU Cougar Classic at Chapel Hill golf course on Saturday, Oct. 11.
