Crossroads League Release | Taylor Athletics Honor Page
HARTFORD CITY, Ind. – A trio of Taylor volleyball players have been honored by the Crossroads League, the league office announced today.

Taylor's Kelsey Arvin, Julia Willey, and Casey Allen were each honored as the player of the week in their respective positions while Willey was named the Crossroads League player of the week as well.

Willey earned her third Crossroads League Setter of the Week honor this season after leading the Trojans to Crossroads League victories over Goshen and Mount Vernon Nazarene last week. The junior setter turned in two complete performances, orchestrating the TU offensive attack with 89 assists and adding 33 digs and ten kills for the Trojans.

Arvin earned her second Crossroads League Libero of the Week honor after anchoring the TU defense in its two Crossroads League victories. Arvin collected 49 digs and helped the Trojans limit the Goshen offensive attack to a .182 attack percentage and the Mount Vernon Nazarene offense to a .117 attack percentage.

Allen is being honored as the Crossroads League Hitter of the Week for the first time in her career. The junior collected a career-high 16 kills and added five blocks in TU's four-set victory over Goshen on Friday and added ten kills in 30 attacks and six blocks on Saturday as Taylor rallied for a four-set victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene. 

The Trojans (14-4, 6-3) host Indiana Wesleyan in a big Crossroads League matchup on Wednesday in Odle Arena at 7:00 pm.
