MARION, Ind. – The Taylor women's golf team will sleep on the lead for the first time in program history after the Trojans posted a team score of 360 in the first round of their home invitational at Meshingomesia Country Club on Friday afternoon.


Sophomore Brittany Pfaff paced the Trojans with a round of 88 while classmate Libby Hansen finished one shot behind Pfaff with an 89, as the duo posted the second and third lowest rounds of the day.


Freshman Courtney Feagans carded the second best round of her career with a round of 90 while fellow freshman Grace Elenbaas rounded out the counting scores for TU with a 93. Senior Lauren Anderson carded a 102 as the Trojans' drop score during the opening round.


Taylor leads Saint Francis by one shot heading into Saturday's final round which is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm.
