UPLAND, Ind. – Josh DeGraaf's first stop within the Toronto Blue Jays organization did not last long, as the 31st-round selection was promoted to the Class A Short Season Vancouver Canadians after just four outings with the Bluefield Blue Jays of the Rookie League.

DeGraaf posted a 3.86 earned-run average and fanned 11 batters in 9.1 innings of work over four strong outings with the Bluefield Blue Jays, before being promoted to the Vancouver Canadians. DeGraaf made his debut with the Canadians on July 10, tossing 2.1 innings of relief.

The Vancouver Canadians compete in the eight-team Northwest League, which features Class A Short Season affiliates for the Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants and Colorado Rockies.
