FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Junior Brittany Pfaff played the opening nine in one-under-par before stumbling on the back nine to finish with an 85 to lead the Taylor women's golf team during the final round of the Saint Francis Invitational on Saturday.

For the second consecutive day the weather was far from ideal as the Trojans competed at Autumn Ridge Golf Club in Fort Wayne during Saturday's final round. Scores were high across the board with the Trojans firing their highest score of the season at 372. Freshman Raquel Helton carded a 95 with freshman Elizabeth Jackson and junior Libby Hansen each adding rounds of 96 to go along with Pfaff's 85 for the TU score on the final day. Sophomore Courtney Feagans was the Taylor drop score with a 102.

The Trojans managed a fifth place finish in the six-team field with a two-round total of 723 (354-372). Northwestern Ohio took home the team title with a total of 681 (333-348) with Bethel (688), Saint Francis (703), and Olivet Nazarene (711) also finishing in front of Taylor.

Pfaff collected her best finish of the season, claiming sixth place with a two-round total of 172 (87-85). Jackson also added a top-20 finish with a tie for 18th place.

The Trojans will wrap up their fall season on Saturday, Oct. 10 with a one-day, 36-hole event at Chapel Hill Golf Course in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
