UPLAND, Ind.– The Taylor women's tennis team finished its 2015 season with a non-conference win over Hanover College, 7-2, on Friday.
Seniors Katherine Marquez and Rachel Kammer led TU with victories on both of their respective singles and doubles courts. Freshmen Mikayla Schultz and Taelor Grose also secured wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
"Hanover is a solid team with a lot of talent, but our girls played strong confident tennis tonight," Taylor head coach Jini Morgan said. "The chemistry of this year's team is exceptional.
"We are sad to see our senior leaders go, but our freshmen brought in a strong competitive spirit that will enable our juniors to step into team leadership next year. We couldn't ask for a better group of young women."
