NEW ORLEANS – Following a strong finish to the regular season last weekend the Taylor women's indoor track and field team checked in a No. 23 in the final regular season NAIA National Team Computer Rankings released by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) this week.

The National Team Computer rankings are determined by the USTFCCCA computers using preseason event rankings that include the top marks of the recent NAIA indoor track & field seasons by returning student-athletes and the top marks of the young 2016 campaign. Marks from the outdoor season are not included, nor are marks from incoming freshmen until they compete in a collegiate meet.

The Trojans are one of two Crossroads League teams appearing in the rankings with Marian also making an appearance at No. 20. Ten members of the TU women's team will represent Taylor at the NAIA Indoor Track and Championships next week in Johnson City, Tennessee.
