LOUDON, Tenn. – With a two-round total of 177, freshman Elizabeth Jackson was the low card for the Taylor women's golf team in its first event of the spring at Tennessee National Golf Club.
Winds and firm, fast greens created challenging conditions on the 5,854-yard, par-72 layout in Loudon, Tennessee but the Trojans managed the challenge admirably en route to a ninth place finish.
Jackson finished in a tie for 23rd while junior Brittany Pfaff carded a final round 94 to finish in a tie for 39th with a two-round total of 187. Junior Libby Edwards carved six shots off her opening round score with a final round 92 while sophomore Grace Elenbaas added a 99 and freshman Raquel Helton finished at 105 to round out the scoring for Taylor on day two. The Trojans finished 12 shots clear of Reinhardt with a two-round total of 751.
Taylor will return to action on April 1-2 when the Trojans will compete at the Saint Francis Invitational in Fort Wayne.
