SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Taylor women's golf team finished seventh at the Pilot Invitational held at Blackthorn Golf Club on Saturday.


The Trojans struggled to a final round team score of 360 on Saturday. Junior Brittany Pfaff carded a final round 87 to finish with a two-day total of 167 and in a tie for 15th. Fellow junior Libby Edwards added a round of 89 while Taylor also counted rounds of 92 from freshman Elizabeth Jackson and sophomore Grace Elenbaas.


Taylor entered the final round in seventh in the 11-team field and maintained their position despite sub-par play.


The tournament marked the final tune-up for TU prior to the Crossroads League Championship scheduled for April 25-26 at Northstar Golf Club in Sunbury, Ohio.
