NAIA Top-25 Poll

KANSAS CITY – The Taylor University baseball team garnered votes in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll that was released Tuesday evening prior to the start of TU's 8-4 win over No. 24 Lindsey Wilson.

The Trojans claimed seven points in the week-six rating, earning the 37th-highest point total in the nation and marking TU's first time receiving votes in the Top-25 Poll since netting three points in the second poll of the 2015 campaign.

Taylor has gone 28-8 since opening the season with a 1-4 clip and is on a current seven-game win streak that has lifted its overall record to 29-12 and into first place in the Crossroads League. Along with going 11-3 against league foes, TU has posted an 8-3 record against teams that competed in the 2015 NAIA National Championship Opening Round and is 3-2 against Top-25 opponents this season.

TU (29-12, 11-3 CL) will return to action on Thursday and Saturday at Indiana Wesleyan (29-15, 11-7 CL) for a key four-game series between the cross-county rivals.
