KANSAS CITY – The Taylor University baseball team earned votes in the NAIA Top-25 Poll for the second-straight week, climbing into the top-30 teams in the national ranking.
The Trojans garnered 33 points in the week-seven poll, jumping 26 points and seven spots to the 30th-highest point total in the Top-25 Poll. The 33 points marked TU's highest total in the poll since hauling in 67 points in the 2014 Preseason Poll.
Taylor owns an overall mark of 33-14 and leads the Crossroads League with a 15-5 record in league play. The Trojans had rattled off 11-straight victories until seeing that streak come to an end at Saint Francis on Tuesday.
TU returns to action on Thursday, with a 5:00 pm doubleheader at Winterholter Field against Grace (19-23, 6-14 CL).
