INDIANAPOLIS – Taylor sophomore Haley Harrell has been named the Crossroads League Setter of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Harrell helped the Trojans to a 3-1 record on the opening weekend of the season at the Lindsey Wilson Tournament. The sophomore from Plymouth, Indiana dished out a total of 105 assists over the weekend, including a career-high 34 assists in TU's four-set victory over Asbury on Saturday.
Harrell also collected 45 digs, including a season-best 17 digs in the win over Asbury and added a pair of service aces as well.
This is the first Crossroads League weekly honor of Harrell's career.
The Trojans open Crossroads League play on the road at Huntington on Wednesday with opening serve slated for 7:00 pm.
