INDIANAPOLIS – The Crossroads League announced its 2016-2017 Preseason All-Crossroads League Teams and Coaches Poll on Monday, and two Trojans, Kendall Bradbury and Cassidy Wyse, earned recognition.

Bradbury was voted to the Preseason All-Crossroads League First Team, following her outstanding freshman campaign last season where she was named NAIA Division II Honorable Mention All-American, Crossroads League Newcomer of the Year and Second-Team All-Crossroads League. The Highlands Ranch, Colorado native started all 30 games during the regular season in 2015-2016 for TU, averaging 18.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 49.3 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from beyond the arc.

In the Crossroads League, Bradbury was the only player to rank in the league's top-10 players in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage, three-point percentage and free throw percentage. The sophomore forward was also the top-scoring freshman in the NAIA last season.

Wyse, a junior forward, was selected to the Preseason Crossroads League Second Team, succeeding her Crossroads League Third Team selection in 2015-2016 and Newcomer-of-the-Year honor in 2014-2015. Wyse led the team a year ago with 7.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game, while trailing only Bradbury for the team lead in scoring average with 13.1 points per game.

Other key returners for the Trojans include senior Monica Compton, junior Josie Cobb and sophomores Aubrey Wright and Lacey Garrett. Five incoming freshmen will bolster the lineup as well.

As a team, Taylor was selected fourth in the league's preseason poll. Last season, the team finished tied for sixth in the league standings with a 7-11 record in the league and a 16-15 overall mark.

TU will open the 2016-2017 season at home on October 29, when the team faces University of Northwestern Ohio inside Odle Arena.
