KANSAS CITY – Matt Hall was selected as the NAIA National Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week on Wednesday, following his first-place finish at the season-opening Indiana Wesleyan Invite. The honor is the first national weekly award for Hall.

Hall was also recognized as the Crossroads League Runner of the Week on Tuesday, after clearing the 142-individual field by over 25 seconds with a time of 25:20 to lead No. 14 Taylor (10-0) to a convincing team championship.

Hall now boasts five Crossroads League Runner-of-the-Week honors, one NAIA National Runner-of-the-Week honor, five NAIA All-American honors, two Academic All-American awards and five Crossroads League Championships in his time with Taylor.

Hall and the No. 14 Trojans will return to action on September 17, when they race in the Cedarville Invite at 9:30 AM.
