INDIANAPOLIS – For the second time in as many races, Taylor's Matt Hall has been highlighted as the Crossroads League Runner of the Week.
Hall led all NAIA competitors and finished second overall at the Cedarville Invitational, turning in TU's fastest individual time for his 13th-straight race. Hall's performance helped No. 13 Taylor finish fourth at the 10-team event, one point back of NCAA Division I Cincinnati for third and ahead of all other NAIA programs.
The honor is the second of the season for Hall and the sixth of his three-year career with the Trojans. Hall was joined on Tuesday by Mae Elizabeth Gimre of TU women's cross country and Haley Harrell of TU volleyball in being recognized, giving Taylor 10 Crossroads League and MSFA Player-of-the-Week honors this season.
Hall and the No. 13 Trojans (16-3) will be back in action on October 1, when they races at the Greater Louisville Classic.
