INDIANAPOLIS – Taylor sophomore Haley Harrell has been named the Crossroads League Setter of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Harrell guided the Trojans to three victories last week, including a sweep at Spring Arbor and a pair of dominant victories over Purdue Northwest. The Plymouth, Indiana native dished out 79 assists, averaging 8.78 assists per set, and added 28 digs as the Trojans improved to 12-8 on the season.
This week marked the fourth time Harrell has been honored as the Crossroads League Setter of the Week. Harrell currently leads the Crossroads League with 9.3 assists per set and has guided the Trojans to the league's third best hitting percentage at .182.
Harrell and the Trojans hit the road this week for a trio of Crossroads League matches at Saint Francis, Goshen, and Indiana Wesleyan.
