FINDLAY, Ohio – The Mid-States Football Association named Taylor's Brandon Haan as the Mideast League Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday for the second time this season, after Haan helped TU score a 21-14 Homecoming win over RV Siena Heights.

Haan held the explosive return men of Siena Heights in check all afternoon, by pinning the Saints inside their own 20-yard line twice and sailing a punt of 51 yards. Haan averaged 37.3 yards over seven punts and also limited SHU's kickoff returns by booming a pair of touchbacks in four tries.

The award is the second of the season for Haan and is the senior punter's third award of his career. Taylor has now received 19 weekly honors from the MSFA and Crossroads League this fall.

Haan and the Trojans (3-5, 1-3 MSFA) will play at RV Concordia (4-3, 1-1 MSFA) on Saturday at 1:00 pm.

Record: 1-1 Home: 1-0 Away: 0-1 Neutral: 0-0 MSFA: 0-0
