INDIANAPOLIS – Taylor women's tennis sophomore Molly Fletchall was named to the All-Crossroads League team, announced by the league office Monday.
Fletchall, a transfer from Ball State University, competed at the top of the lineup in her first active year as a Trojan. Her consistency from the top spot in singles and doubles play helped Taylor finish with a 9-5 overall record, a 5-3 record in the Crossroads League, and a No. 4 seed in the Crossroads League Tournament.
The Carmel, Indiana-native went 12-3 overall at No. 1 singles and 6-1 against Crossroads League opponents. In doubles, Fletchall and classmate Taelor Grose finished 12-6 overall from the No. 1 spot and 5-2 in the Crossroads League.
Fletchall earned three consecutive victories in straight sets to win the B singles main draw competition at the ITA Regional Championships in September.
The All-Crossroads League team consists of 12 players. The Coach of the Year was awarded to Eddy Shigley from Indiana Wesleyan University and Scott Moore from Grace College.
