UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor women's basketball team snapped a two-game losing streak with a 66-43 victory over Robert Morris inside Odle Arena on Saturday. The win moves the Trojans to 3-0 on Paul Patterson Court this year, marking TU's best start at home under head coach Kelly Packard.

The Eagles (0-4) hung around throughout the first period, trailing only 18-11 after the first ten minutes of action.

However, the Trojans (3-3) broke the game open in the second quarter with a 20-3 scoring run. TU held Robert Morris to a single made field goal in the second period and 19-percent shooting for the half to take a 38-14 lead into the break. Taylor converted on 52 percent of its shots in the first half.

Kendall Bradbury led Taylor with 13 points on an efficient 5-of-8 shooting in the opening half, including a pair of three-pointers within a span of three possessions in the second quarter to help fuel the Trojans' scoring burst.

RMU cut the lead to 19 in the opening minutes of the second half, but Taylor countered with a 12-2 run to extend its lead to 29 with just under three minutes remaining in the third quarter. TU cruised the rest of the way to secure the 23-point win.

The Trojans held a significant advantage on the glass, outrebounding the Eagles 47-26 in the contest. TU also outscored Robert Morris 14 to zero in fastbreak points, 24-13 in points off turnovers and 28-12 in points in the paint to highlight the performance for Taylor.

Bradbury finished with 17 points to lead all scorers, while also grabbing seven rebounds. Aubrey Wright led the Trojans with a career-high 11 boards and a career-high six assists. Monica Compton and Cassidy Wyse each pulled down eight rebounds, with Compton adding 12 points and Wyse scoring 14. Josie Cobb tallied 14 points and recorded a season-high three steals.
