KANSAS CITY – A fourth-straight Crossroads League Championship season for the Taylor University women's cross country program will end with a fourth-straight NAIA Top-20 rating, as TU was officially ranked No. 19 in the NAIA Top-25 Postseason Poll.
The postseason rankings were a direct reflection of the final team standings from the 2016 NAIA National Championships on November 19, in which Taylor finished 19th overall with a time of 94:53 and 486 points.
The Trojans were the top-ranked Crossroads League in the postseason poll and throughout the entire season, ranging between No. 7 and No. 19 in the ratings despite battling through various injuries.
TU has now been ranked inside the NAIA Top-25 in each of the past 37 national polls.
