UPLAND, Ind. – Taylor remained perfect in its annual Silent Night Game, dominating Lincoln Christian in a 99-68 affair on Friday, after Evan Crowe broke the silence for the second-straight year.

Crowe joined Casey Coons (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012) and Andrew Davies (1997, 1998) as the third Trojan to net the 10th-point in multiple Silent Night Games, doing so on a triple for the second time.

The Crowe trifecta from the left wing ignited an 11-0 run by Taylor that evolved into a larger stretch of 37-9 by the Trojans to put the game out of reach. Lincoln Christian (3-9) pushed TU early with four three-point makes in its first five tries in the silent arena, before Crowe's three-ball unleashed the raucous celebration and sent Taylor on its way to the easy win.

Jake Heggeland led all players with 18 points and yanked down six rebounds, with Keaton Hendricks netting 14 and grabbing six boards. Crowe drilled five triples to finish with 17 points, while Eric Cellier and Tim Fleming added 10 to give Taylor five players in double figures. Fleming also dished out 10 assists for his first career double-double and Graham Ortmann finished with a career-high seven points off the bench.

Taylor has won all 20 of its Silent Night Games, including three victories over Lincoln Christian. The Trojans have scored at least 90 points in five-straight Silent Nights and have now scored at least 80 points in all but three games this season.

No. 12 TU (11-1) will return to action on Friday, December 16 against Cincinnati Christian (3-8) in a 7:00 pm tip inside Odle Arena.
