FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Taylor women's track and field team continued its indoor season as the Trojans competed at the Classic Products Invitational at Indiana Tech on Saturday.


Miriam Wood and Abigail Phillips both turned in impressive performances en route to a 1-2 finish in the 600 meter. Wood claimed the victory with a mark of 1:44.20 with Phillips close behind at 1:45.80.


Plenseh-Tay Sakeuh was also impressive in her season debut as the sophomore clocked a time of 9.05 in the 60 meter hurdles to hit the automatic qualifying mark for the NAIA Indoor National Championships. Sakeuh also hit 5.36 meters in the long jump.


Four Trojans earned spots in the top ten of the shot put with Jordan Edington leading the charge with a mark of 10.51 meters.


The Trojans will now take a break before returning to action on January 28th at the Grand Valley State Invitational.
