FINDLAY, Ohio – The Mid-States Football Association announced its 2016 All-Academic Team recently, with Taylor ranking second in the 13-team league and first among all MSFA Mideast League programs with 22 student-athletes on the list of 188 receiving recognition.

 

In order to be eligible to be named MSFA All-Academic, a student-athlete must possess a minimum grade-point average of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale and have reached sophomore academic status at their current institution.

 

Taylor was represented on the MSFA All-Academic Team by Caleb Nicley, Grant Hohlbein, Daniel Boy, Wilson Alexander, Hans Lundberg, Derek Wanner, Craig Faulkner, Hunter Brooks, Brandon Haan, Kyle Windebank, Tyler Gerig, Taylor Beam, Everett Pollard, Brandon George, Kyle Kempton, Jacob Baker, Michael Garrity, Blake Wheeler, Ben Rupert, Tyler Bosse, Logan Ball and Cole Hession.

 

In addition to leading the MSFA Mideast League with 22 All-Academic honors, Taylor led the entire MSFA with 16 student-athletes above the 3.5 mark.
