INDIANAPOLIS – Kendall Bradbury of the Taylor women's basketball team has been named Crossroads League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second-straight week and the fourth time this season, the league office announced on Monday.
Bradbury posted 21.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game last week while leading the Trojans to an upset of No. 25 Huntington and a near upset of No. 5 Marian. The sophomore scored 26 points on nine-of-19 shooting from the floor and grabbed nine boards in a 75-70 upset win over No. 25 Huntington on Wednesday at Paul Patterson Court. Bradbury followed the performance with 16 points and seven rebounds in a 76-66 loss to No. 5 Marian on Saturday.
Bradbury and the TU women's basketball team (9-9, 4-2 CL) will travel across the county to take on rival No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan (13-5, 6-0 CL) in a Crossroads League contest on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
