MARION, Ind. – Kendall Bradbury poured in a game-high 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting in Taylor's 74-52 loss at No. 12 Indiana Wesleyan on Wednesday night to become the 23rd player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. The sophomore now has 1,003 points in her TU career and accomplished the feat in 50 games, the fastest of any player in team history.

The 12th-ranked Wildcats jumped on the Trojans early, ripping off 14-straight points in the first quarter to take a 20 to six lead after 10 minutes of action. TU converted two made field goals while committing seven turnovers in the opening stanza.

Taylor found a spark early in the second period, rattling off an eight-to-two run to begin the quarter and cut the lead to single digits at 23-14. However, IWU responded with a 10-to-three run to take a 33-17 lead into halftime.

In the second half, TU knocked down a couple shots to keep the lead within 15 points, but the Wildcats inflated the lead to 28 by the end of the third quarter and kept the lead above 20 for the rest of the contest to cruise to a 74-52 win over Taylor.

Bradbury's first of two free throws at the 8:04 mark of the fourth quarter gave the Highlands Ranch, Colorado native exactly 1,000 points for her career, and she tacked on three more points by the end of the game for her current total of 1,003 career points.

Taylor (9-10, 4-3 CL) will look to halt its current two-game skid on Saturday when it hosts Goshen (10-9, 4-3 CL) at 1:00 pm inside Odle Arena.
