INDIANAPOLIS – TU's Kendall Bradbury has been named Crossroads League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fifth time this year, the league office announced on Monday.
Bradbury's five player-of-the-week awards are the most in the league by far this season, as Miranda Palmer of Huntington is the only other women's basketball player to earn the weekly honor more than once (two) in 2016-2017.
Bradbury averaged 22.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 assists per game last week, while also shooting 61.5 percent from the field to lead TU. The sophomore erupted for 30 points on 10-of-14 shooting (71.4 percent), while collecting 10 rebounds and three steals and dishing out three assists in Taylor's last-second 62-60 victory over Saint Francis on Wednesday.
The Highlands Ranch, Colorado native ranks third in the nation in points per game (21.5) and 17th in rebounds per game (9.2) on the season.
Bradbury and the Trojans (11-15, 6-8 CL) will host No. 17 Indiana Wesleyan (16-10, 9-5 CL) on Wednesday at 7:00 pm in its next league matchup.
