UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor softball team, in partnership with Destiny Rescue, will host a Destiny Rescue Day on Saturday, when it hosts Indiana Wesleyan for a doubleheader at 1:00 pm.
Destiny Rescue is an internationally recognized Christian non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and restoring children trapped in the sex trade. Since 2011, Destiny Rescue has saved nearly 2,000 children enslaved around the world, while preventing hundreds more from entering the sex trade through various prevention and awareness programs.
The cost to save one child is approximately $1,500 and funds will be collected at Gudakunst Field through donations at the Destiny Rescue table, run by a Destiny Rescue representative.
