HILLSDALE, Mich. – The Taylor women's track and field team competed at the 51st Annual Hillsdale Relays at Hillsdale College on Friday.
Sophomore Anna Souzis clocked a season best time of 2:24.56 to pace a trio of Trojans in the 800-meter run. Freshman Taylor Bluemel was close behind Souzis with a mark of 2:24.99 while sophomore Margie Crosby posted a time of 2:26.37.
Sophomore Miriam Wood posted a season best time of 59.64 en route to a 12th place finish in the 400-meter run.
Sophomore Plenseh-Tay Sakeuh posted the best mark of her 2017 season with a mark of 5.86 meters in the long jump to hit the NAIA A-standard.
Freshman Lenna Klein posted a new personal best time of 12.53 to take ninth place in the 100-meter dash.
Brianna Jordahl tallied an 11th place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 46.36 meters.
Competition at the Hillsdale Relays continues Saturday.
