INDIANAPOLIS – The Crossroads League announced its weekly award winners on Monday, and Taylor's Brianna Jordahl was named the league's Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Jordahl competed in the hammer throw at the Hillsdale Classic Last Chance Meet, meeting the NAIA B-standard with a program-record throw of 49.74 meters. The sophomore topped her own previous TU record of 47.39 meters, which she set at the George Glass Invitational on April 8.

The honor is the first of Jordahl's two-year career with the Trojans.

Taylor will be back in action at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in Gulf Shores, Alabama May 25-27, and Jordahl is provisionally qualified in the hammer throw, as she ranks 18th nationally.
