PING All-Region Teams | TU Honors Page

UPLAND, Ind.  – Taylor's Alec Dutkowski and Trey Turner have been named to the NAIA PING All-North Region Team for the second straight season. The Golf Coaches Association of America announced the teams this week.

 

Dutkowski was named the Crossroads League Player of the Year and collected a tie for fourth place at the NAIA National Championship during his sophomore campaign. The Wakarusa, Indiana native posted the lowest scoring average in TU history with a 73.2 average in 33 rounds and finished inside the top five in eight events, including three victories.

 

Turner posted a 75.1 scoring average in 30 rounds during the 2016-17 season to earn a spot on the All-North Region team for the second straight season. Turner tied for medalist honors at the Crossroads League Championship and earned a spot on the All-Crossroads League team for the second straight season.

 

The duo was the only Crossroads League players to earn a spot on the All-Region team.
