UPLAND, Ind. – For the second straight season Taylor sophomore Alec Dutkowski has been named an NAIA All-American, the NAIA national office announced this week.
Dutkowski capped a stellar sophomore campaign with a tie for fourth place at the NAIA National Championship. The sophomore was named the Crossroads League Player of the Year after collecting three victories and eight top five finishes during the 2016-17 season. Dutkowski finished the season with the best scoring average in TU history at 73.2 strokes per round in 33 rounds played.
After earning third-team All-American honors last season Dutkowski claimed a spot on the second-team this season. Dutkowski is just the third Trojan to earn All-American honors joining Terry Schaumleffel and Don Faimon.
Dutkowksi was the only All-American selection from the Crossroads League.
