NAIA Top-25 Poll

KANSAS CITY – After winning its first three games of the season, the Taylor women's soccer team climbed five spots to No. 17 in the season's first NAIA Top-25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday.


TU earned 235 points in the ratings, a significant increase from the 133 points it received in the preseason poll. The Trojans trail No. 16 Baker by 18 points and sit 17 points clear of No. 18 Science and Arts. Taylor was joined in the national rankings by fellow Crossroads League teams No. 2 Spring Arbor, No. 25 Marian and RV Grace.


The Purple and Gold currently rank among the NAIA's top-25 in goals per game (5.33), shots per game (25.67), total goals (16), assists per game (3.33) and total assists (10).


The No. 17 Trojans (3-0) face off with No. 5 Columbia (4-0) Wednesday at 4:00 pm inside Turner Stadium in the team's next contest.
