Crossroads League Release | TU Honors Page

AVON, Ohio – For the seventh time in the last two seasons, Taylor's Haley Harrell has been selected as the Crossroads League Setter of the Week, as announced on Tuesday by the league offices.


Harrell posted 96 assists, 33 digs and two aces in Taylor's three matches, helping the Trojans top Huntington in four sets and score a sweep at No. 20 Indiana Wesleyan. Harrell averaged 8.7 assists and 3.0 digs per set for TU, posting three double-doubles and turning in 28 assists and 11 digs in the victory over IWU.


The award is the first for Harrell this season, as she joined Becca Gerig as the second student-athlete from the Taylor volleyball program to be honored this season.


Harrell and the Trojans (8-4, 2-2 CL) will return to action on Wednesday at 5:00 pm, when they host Bethel (8-8, 1-2 CL) inside Odle Arena.
