MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -The TU women's tennis team opened the week with a comfortable 9-0 victory over Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Taylor (5-2, 4-2 CL) was nearly perfect on their way to their fourth league win while MVNU (0-7, 0-6 CL) still searches for their first win of the fall.

TU's dominance was evident in both doubles and singles action. The Trojans blanked MVNU on the No. 2, No. 3, No. 4 and No. 6 singles courts while also picking up an 8-0 shutout on the No. 1 doubles court. All six singles matches were wrapped up in two sets while no doubles teams allowed MVNU to earn more than one set.

The Trojans will return to action on Wednesday in Winona Lake, Indiana, where TU will collide with Grace College (6-2, 3-2 CL).
