UPLAND, Ind. - The TU women's tennis team produced a dominant 8-0 win on Friday evening by blanking Indiana University Kokomo (0-3). The Trojans (7-2, 5-2 CL) are now winners of three straight.
Taylor was dominant from the top to the bottom of the lineup in both doubles and singles action. Although the final set was called due to weather, the other five singles contests were closed in two sets with the No. 2 and No. 3 contests being finished with perfect 6-0, 6-0 scores. Taylor's No. 3 singles player, Mikayla Schultz, not only picked up a shutout in her individual match but also teamed up with Molly Fletchall to hold IUK to an 8-0 shutout in the No. 1 doubles position as well.
The Trojans will be back to work tomorrow facing Goshen College (0-6, 0-6 CL) at 11:00 a.m.
