The Cougars (13-8, 3-4 CL) maintained the momentum in set two on the way to a 25-17 victory before closing out the Trojans 27-25 in the third set.

Sophomore Callie Drage led the Taylor attack with eight kills while the junior Addy Bailey and senior Becca Gerig chipped in seven kills apiece. Junior Haley Harrell dished out 19 assists for the Trojans while sophomore Samantha Korn tallied 20 digs with Harrell adding 12.
