Crossroads League Release | TU Honors Page

AVON, Ohio – For his work for the Taylor men's tennis team this week, freshman Christen Jacquottet landed his first nod as the Crossroads League Men's Tennis Player of the Week as announced on Monday by the league office.


Jacquottet posted a 5-1 record for Taylor last week, helping the Trojans to a 2-1 team mark while manning the top of the TU lineup. Jacquottet went 2-1 at No. 1 singles and won all three contests at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles against league foes Mount Vernon, Grace and Goshen.  Overall this season, the rookie is 5-6 in singles action, including a 3-4 mark on court one. In doubles, Jacquottet is 5-7 playing in both No. 1 and No. 2 positions.


The Trojans (4-5, 4-4 CL) will be back in action on Tuesday against Indiana Wesleyan (9-0, 7-0 CL) at 4:00 p.m.
