MARION, Ind. - The Taylor Trojans men's tennis team hit a roadblock on Thursday, falling to the undefeated Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan (10-0, 8-0 CL) 9-0. Taylor (4-6, 4-5 CL) will close out the fall season with two non-league contests before the Crossroads League Postseason Tournament kicks off next week.
The Trojans struggled to find rhythm during the matchup with IWU. In singles, the bottom of TU's lineup proved to be the most competitive led by Alex Jung who lost 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 6 slot.
Taylor will finish the week with back-to-back, non-league road contests starting with a trip to NCAA DII Cedarville University (2-0) for a 3:00 p.m. match.
