ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE INFORMATION
ARRIVAL: Your daughter will be expected to arrive on campus between 4:30 - 6:00 pm Sunday evening. She should report to Wengatz Hall dormitory on the south end of our campus. You should plan to eat dinner before arriving at camp, but a snack will be served to campers at approximately 9:00 pm Sunday evening.
Please be sure to bring a completed health statement form to camp with you which has been signed by a physician and dated within 12 months of the first day of camp indicating that your daughter is in good physical condition to play basketball. A blank Taylor form, which you may take to your physician to be filled out, will be emailed to you with your receipt for your deposit for camp fees or you may print one here. IHSAA or a physician's physical form are both acceptable, as long as they are dated within 12 months of the first day of camp. If you submit a physical form other than the Taylor form, you will still need to sign the Taylor form with consent to dispense Tylenol.
Also, a Camp Participation Waiver, Release of Liability and Medical Authorization Agreement must be completed and brought to camp. A blank form will be mailed to you with your receipt for the deposit for camp fees or you may print one here. Please attach a copy of the front and back of your insurance card to this form.
If applicable, please remember to pay the balance due on your registration online at least one week before camp. If necessary, the balance may be paid by check, money order, or cash at the Sunday night check-in.
DEPARTURE: You should plan to meet your daughter Thursday between 3:30 - 4:15 pm at Wengatz Hall. After loading her belongings, you will come to the gym for the 4:30 pm basketball program and exhibition which will be concluded by 5:30 pm.
-A week's supply of shorts, shirts, underwear, socks, sleepwear, a modest one-piece swimsuit, and a sweatshirt or jacket.
-Personal toiletries, a good sunscreen, bed linen, blanket (or sleeping bag), pillow, washcloth, towels, and a Bible. Towels are furnished in the gym but not in the dormitory or at the beach. Portable fans are also recommended, as the dorm rooms are not air-conditioned.
-Basketball socks, T-shirts, basketball shorts, and two pairs of basketball shoes (one for indoor and one for outdoor). We recommend that the girls wear two pairs of socks during their games, as they play two games each day. A Taylor Basketball Camp shirt is given to each girl during the week. Souvenir shirts, shorts, and basketballs are also available for purchase during the week and on Thursday afternoon.
-A small bag or tote to carry items between the gymnasium and the dorm.
-Cell phones are discouraged at camp.
-Bottled pop and candy are available for $1.00 at the concession stand.
-It is strongly recommended that valuable articles such as watches, cell phones, electronic devices, etc., not be brought to camp. We cannot be liable for damage or loss.
We pledge that every girl who attends the Taylor Basketball Camp:
